Music for shopping centres, across every site

One centre, many zones. Every zone its own licence.

A centre is not one music stream. The concourse, the food court and the entrances are separately controlled zones, and each one needs its own IMRO tariff and its own streaming subscription. Here is how Melodial Plus replaces the whole stack with one platform and flat per-stream pricing.

The licence is not per centre. It is per zone.

Centre management rarely runs a single playlist. The concourse, the food court, the entrances and the car park lifts are each independently controlled, so each is a separate music stream needing its own IMRO tariff plus its own streaming vendor. Add a second centre and the whole arrangement repeats.

Melodial Plus replaces it with one platform, central control of every zone and every centre, and a single flat price per stream, with the commercial licence included on each one.

Common questions from shopping centres

How does Melodial Plus pricing work for a shopping centre?
Per stream. A stream is one independently controlled music zone. Plus is €13.99/month (or €139.99/year) per stream, with ads, scheduling and multi-user permissions included, and no separate IMRO fees. A centre with three distinct zones, the concourse, the food court and the entrances, needs three streams.
Does our licence cover the retail tenants too?
No. Each tenant is a separate business playing its own music, so each needs its own licence for what plays inside their store. Melodial covers the areas centre management controls: the concourse, the food court seating, the entrances and the shared areas. Tenants who want the same deal can take their own Melodial subscription.
Can we schedule different sound for trading hours, quiet periods and seasons?
Yes. Scheduling and dayparting let you programme the concourse and the food court separately and automatically, zone by zone, and roll a seasonal playlist out across every centre at once.
Beyond licensing

The centre is the product, and the atmosphere is most of it.

Shoppers do not choose a centre for its tenant list alone. They choose the one that feels good to walk through, and sound is a large part of that feeling. A consistent, deliberate soundtrack across the concourse is part of what makes people stay, and people staying is what your retailers pay rent for.
