Step 1: Download the app
Available free on iOS and Android. Search Melodial on the App Store or Google Play, or use the links on the Melodial app page.
Step 2: Sign in to your account
When you signed up, we emailed you a welcome message with your login details. Your username is the email address you signed up with, and your password is in that welcome email, so check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Your app password is separate from your website password. They are two different logins, and resetting one does not change the other.
Step 3: Choose how you want to listen
Radio
Curated stations that stream non-stop. Pick a vibe and it plays all day with no setup, the longest-playing option if you just want to press play and leave it.
Genres
Browse by genre, Easy Listening, Country, Throwback, Ambient and more, then play a whole genre or add individual tracks to a playlist.
Playlists
Build and save your own playlists from the full library, so you can tailor the exact sound for your venue.
Step 4: Keep the music playing all day
Turn on Shuffle and Continuous so the music plays non-stop in a different order every day, even with nobody touching the phone. Playback keeps going in the background if your phone locks, and every track in the catalogue is volume-levelled so you will not get jarring loud-quiet jumps between songs.
Step 5: Add voice announcements (optional)
Turn a line of text into a professional AI voice announcement that plays between your tracks, no recording equipment needed. See the voice announcements guide for how to create one.
Step 6: Download your Certificate of Compliance
Get it from either place: log in at melodial.com/account and set up your business details to download it, or open the app and tap Account Settings to print it there. Either way, it proves your music is fully licensed for commercial use.
Data usage
Melodial streams at 128kbps, roughly 60MB an hour, so it is very light on WiFi or mobile data.
